Transfer Scholarship Information
Will You be a New Transfer Student at NSU in the Summer or Fall of 2027?
The Transfer Scholarship Application for the 2026-2027 academic year is now closed! The application for 2027-2028 will open up on October 1st. This application applies to new transfers for the tuition waivers listed below and for NSU Foundation scholarships.

Students must be admitted by the scholarship deadline in order to be considered.

| RiverHawk Transfer* | 3.5-4.0 GPA | $1,000 | 1 Year |
Scholarships are not automatic and are awarded based on fund availability. Students may receive only one of the tuition waivers above.
*Only in-state students who are pursuing a first bachelor's degree are eligible for these tuition waivers. To receive a transfer scholarship, students must plan to enroll full-time (at least 12 hours at NSU). One exception applies: our Smart Choice Part-Time award. Students must be enrolled in 6 to 11 hours to be considered part-time.
1 Only those applicants who are members of the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society are eligible.
2 Only those applicants who have completed/will complete the Tulsa Achieves program are eligible.
3 Only students transferring from one of our Smart Choice partner institutions (Carl Albert State College, Connors State College, Eastern Oklahoma State College, Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, Tulsa Community College) are eligible.
4 Our Smart Choice partner (Carl Albert State College, Connors State College, Eastern Oklahoma State College, Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, Tulsa Community College) presidents will each nominate 2 recipients for these awards, entering in a Summer or Fall term. We currently cannot award the Smart Choice Presidential Scholarship to spring admits.

The Spring 2027 Transfer Scholarship Application applies to new transfers for the tuition waivers listed below for Spring 2027.
Application Deadline: Dec 1
Please note that if new Spring 2027 transfers complete this scholarship application, they will NOT need to complete the Continuing Student Scholarship Application for 2027-28. If you do NOT complete the Spring transfer scholarship application, you must also complete our Continuing Student Scholarship Application to be considered for scholarships for the 2027-28 academic year by March 1st.
