NSU is committed to assisting students in applying and earning scholarships. Whether you are an incoming freshman or a continuing/returning student, NSU has a wide variety of scholarship options for students to choose from.

Clubs and Organizations

From networking to leadership opportunities, NSU’s over 80 clubs and organizations allow our students to build lasting relationships while getting the full college experience.

Transfer Students

Whether you’re an incoming or current transfer student, NSU’s transfer advisors are available to assist you with transcript evaluation, information on degree programs and support services. NSU is where You Belong.

Graduate College

Whether transitioning to graduate school or returning to higher education, NSU’s graduate college is your next step. Choose from over 25 master's degrees and several certificate programs.

Continuing Scholarships

Continuing/Returning Scholarship Information

The Continuing/Returning Student Scholarship Application for the Fall 2024-Spring 2025 Academic Year is Now Closed! Check back at the end of the Fall 2024 semester for information on the scholarship application for the 2025-2026 school year. 

Current in-state and out-of-state undergraduate students AND students who will begin taking classes at NSU for the first time during the Spring 2025 semester should complete this application. You may also fill out this application if you are not currently enrolled, but are planning to return for the 2025-26 school year AND NSU was the last school you attended. By completing this application, you are applying for continuing tuition waivers as well as 100's of privately funded scholarships from the NSU Foundation. 

Application Deadline: March 1

Are you an Out-of-State student?

If you are already awarded the Quad-State, Tribal Heritage, or Non-Resident scholarship there is no need to reapply each year. As long as you continue to meet the requirements outlined in your award letter, your scholarship will automatically renew each remaining year. If you are NOT receiving one of those awards, please visit our Out-of-State scholarship page for more information on our out-of-state tuition waivers to see if you are eligible.
