Here is a summarized list of requirements, for full details click on the name of the scholarship. Due dates may vary. 

Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce Scholarship
Deadline: May 10, 2021
Junior, senior, or graduate student taking classes on the Broken Arrow campus. Must be a resident of
Broken Arrow or a graduate of Broken Arrow High School. GPA: 3.0. Must be involved in community service.

Broken Arrow Community Scholarship
Deadline: May 10, 2021
Student attending classes at NSU Broken Arrow. Must complete 9 hours a semester. GPA: 2.5

Carlton Wright Sand Springs Home Scholarship
Deadline: May 14, 2021
Must have lived at the Sand Springs Home (including Sand Springs Children’s Home and Family Village) at some point during their childhood. Must be an enrolled full time (at least 12 hours a semester) student with a 2.5 GPA.

Crafton & Leoser Families Scholarship
Deadline: May 14, 2021
Must be a non-traditional student and a full time sophomore or above on the Tahlequah campus. Must be currently employed and have volunteer experience. GPA: 2.75

GRDA/NSU Scenic Rivers and Watershed Research Fellowship 2021-2022
Deadline: July 28, 2021
Must be a junior or senior. GPA: 2.5 
The Research Fellowship Program is designed to allow students to pursue research on the Oklahoma Scenic Rivers and watershed, in the areas of environmental science, aquatic and terrestrial wildlife, water quality, and management. Recipients of the scholarship will be required to locate a research adviser and develop and implement a research project with the help of NSU faculty and GRDA staff members. Students must register for the GRDA Scenic Rivers Research credit each semester. Students will also be required to present their research at least one local/ regional conference and at NSU Undergraduate Research Day during the spring semester.  

GRDA/NSU $1,000 Graduate Research Stipend Fall 2021
Deadline: August 16, 2021

The GRDA-NSU $1,000 Graduate Stipend is offered to graduate students at Northeastern State University (Any campus). Applicants must write responses to all of the essay prompts provided. Graduate stipends are provided on a semester basis. 

GRDA-NSU $500 Undergraduate Research Stipend
Deadline: August 11, 2021
The GRDA-NSU $500 Research Stipend has been designed to provide two students at Northeastern State University (Tahlequah Campus) with research opportunities with biologists of the GRDA Scenic Rivers and Watershed Research Laboratory during the fall 2021 semester. Student must be a freshman or sophomore. 

The Helen L. Alred Memorial Scholarship
Deadline: May 14, 2021
Applicant must have attended Shady Grove School District C026 at least 3 consecutive years. They must also be a full time junior or senior with at least a 3.0 GPA.

Jeremy D. West Memorial Scholarship
Deadline: May 14, 2021
Applicant must be a full-time and regularly enrolled. They must also be majoring in Political Science, have financial need, and can not be related to the donor. GPA: 3.0
1 award of $650

President Steve Turner Non-Traditional Student Scholarship
Deadline: May 14, 2021
Applicants must be a first time incoming freshmen, age 25 or older. Must be a full time student. 
GPA: 3.0

The Sigma Sigma Sigma Jeanne Johnson Service Scholarship
Deadline: May 14, 2021
Applicant must be a full-time, incoming female freshman. (Fall 2021 is 1st semester in college)
ACT: 23 composite. GPA: 3.5 
1 award of $525

Sinco Scholarship Endowment
Deadline: May 14, 2021
Incoming Freshmen from an Oklahoma high school pursuing a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Accounting, or Finance. Must be a full-time with a 3.0 GPA. Must have filed a FAFSA for the 2021-22 academic year. Preference for a Native American student who is enrolled as a member of a federally recognized tribe and must attach a copy of their tribal citizenship card.

Tom/Joe Lester Scholarship
Deadline: May 14, 2021
Applicants must be a sophomore or above with financial need. Must have a declared a major in Criminal Justice (Law Enforcement). GPA: 3.25. Student MUST be active in Christian non-denominational organizations at NSU. 

 

Almost all of our Foundation Scholarships are applied for when you fill out a general scholarship application. If any become available that require a separate application we will send out an email and post the information here.
